Yes, it is September 14th and I am just now writing about Avery's first day of school (from August 6th!). The night before we read a book that I got Avery "The Night Before Kindergarten". She made me read it 3 times. I cried through the book and dreaded what the morning would bring.
However, seeing my little girl so excited and ready to go to Kindergarten I was nothing but excited myself! She chose her little outfit and when we walked her in she was ready to go. I am so proud of her and everything she has accomplished in the 6-weeks.
I think the best scripture for this day and for the next 12 years comes from
Proverbs 22:6- Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
This is the guiding verse for Avery's (and now Jacy's) preschool and it is on my heart daily.
